  • Greg Jakubowicz, OFM (MDiv ’04) is now serving as the chief operating officer for Washington Theological Union.
  • Greg Brown, OFM Cap (MDiv ’04) is serving as parochial vicar at St. Cecilia Parish in Rochester, Pennsylvania.
  • Robert Harrison, CSSR (MDiv ’04) was ordained a priest at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, his home Redemptorist parish in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, in May 2005. After serving his diaconate on the Caribbean island nation of St. Lucia, he will now serve as a parish priest at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn, New York.
  • Patricia Loughlin (MA ‘03) has been accepted into the Doctor of Ministry program at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Her track is Leadership in Multiethnic Ministry. She is currently the Program Director at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware where she is responsible for the parish’s education programs from toddler to adult. She also recruits, places, and coordinates ministry volunteers. She even gets her own parking space!
  • Brian Mohan (MDiv ’03) was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
  • Marjorie Ackerman (MTS ’03) was honored by Life Skills Workshop, Inc for her work helping women coming out of prison with life and employment skills. Marjorie founded Life Skills Workshop and also served on its board.
  • Paul Henson (MDiv ’02) is principal of Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, California.
  • Michael Haag (MDiv ’02) is serving as a deacon for the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois. He is a campus minister at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.
  • Michael Ciski, TOR (MDiv ’00) is the Vocations Director for the Third Order Regular Franciscans Sacred Heart of Jesus province in Loretto, Pennsylvania.
  • Charles Cunniff, CSP (MDiv ’00) is the Associate Director of the Thomas More Newman Center at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
  • Ana Villamil Kelly (MDiv ’00) is the new director of FADICA’s Future Foundation Leadership Initiative. The program is aimed at developing the skills and grant-making experiences of younger adult Christians. FADICA is Foundations and Donors Interesting in Catholic Activities, Inc. Prior to FADICA, Ana served for nine years as the associate director of the Secretariat for Family, Women, Laity, and Youth at U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
  • Angela Moloney (MAPS ’99) and her husband William Alt (MA ’99) are taking a year of service at Nazareth Farm in Salem, West Virginia. Nazareth Farm, a small community rooted in Catholic social teaching, focuses on ending sub-standard housing in rural West Virginia through home repair.
  • Jessica Wormley (MA ’99) married Dr. James Murray Murdoch on December 8. Guests included Associate Professor of Ecclesiastical History, Dr. Ilia Delio and Union grads Bill Alt, Angela Moloney, and Heidi Russell (MDiv/MA ’00). Jessica is currently the Senior Erskine Peters Fellow at the University of Notre Dame while completing her dissertation in systematic theology from Fordham University. She is also teaching Notre Dame undergraduate courses in Fundamental Theology and the Great Books program.
  • David Grainson (MDiv ’98) is married and living in Long Island. He is completing studies for his Master of Social Work and supervises a program that serves children and adolescents with mental illness.
  • Mary Eliot (MA ’98) was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church by Bishop Ihloff of Maryland on behalf of Bishop Lee of Virginia on January 15. She is currently serving as the Assistant Rector of Christ Episcopal Church in Columbia, Maryland. She married Jeffrey Staples on January 29.
  • Jim Curry (MA ‘98) continues to serve as business director at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, Florida. He reports: “Our parish suffered the loss of four buildings in the hurricanes of 2004. The parish at which I work as business director is in the midst of a three year, $10 million capital campaign to build a new parish life center and a new athletic center. In a parish thatis pretty busy to begin with, it has been an extremely hectic year. Leslie (former Union Arts Coordinator) and I welcomed our fourth grandchild, Bethany, into the family in March of this year.”
